    Stopped by on a whim while traveling through the area. Great bartender and patrons. We sat at the bar and talked with locals... one even bought our drink for us. Would have stayed longer but had a dinner to make in Waterloo. We enjoyed the Shiner Bock on draft. Definitely would go out of our way to stop here again next time we travel through Iowa.

    The bartender was awesome. Everyone smiled at our daughter. Our food was cooked to perfection. Our kids ate every bite. I knew there was a pool tournament going on and I wasn't sure how busy it was going to be, thankfully there was a separate room for the tournament. It was a very nice mellow environment with that small town bar feel you always want.
